Sam Ayers: Online Chat

(Continued from Page 1)

Chat Participant: If you could go back to those times, who would you have liked to work with most?

samayers1: Oh God. There are so many different genres that I'd have loved to work in. In comedies, I'd have loved to have worked with Keaton. In westerns, a John Ford western.

Chat Participant: Sounds like you prefer the physical forms of acting after all...

samayers1: Yes. That's very much inside me from growing up. But I have a high appreciation for the theatre. I've done theatre and love it.

Chat Participant: Sam is it hard playing almost a mute Sam on tP?

samayers1: It's not hard, you just want to make sure you stay out of everybody's way. There's times that they let me feed my own lines.

Chat Participant: Sam, have you been in a scene where there was complicated action with explosions

samayers1: Yes, I've been into some good stunts.

Chat Participant: Wouldn't you liek to *speak* just a bit more? I know i would like that.

samayers1: Yes, I'd like to speak more in roles. From your lips to God's ears.

Chat Participant: Sam I noticed that you did some guest roles on VIP what was it like working on that show and with Pamela Anderson?

samayers1: Again, I worked with the other stars and didn't get to meet Pamela.

Chat Participant: Who's gonna win the Super Bowl?

samayers1: The New England Patriots, since the Steelers are out.

Chat Participant: hummm, and what will the score be?

samayers1: Are we doing a pool here?

Chat Participant: *pool*?

samayers1: A betting pool... Maybe not.

Chat Participant: Sam, what are your next goals?

samayers1: Continue trying to maintain a living here, going after whatever is out there. Winning an Oscar (so says Robin).

Chat Participant: Go for the Emmy and Tony. Get the Triple Crown. and And you sing, you could win a Grammy as well!

samayers1: Those are ascertainable. But those are all goals that you strive as a professional to maintain a standard and reach for. It's something to strive for. From what I've heard out there, sometimes I could sing better. I do have a secret talent making sound effects with my mouth/voice.

Chat Participant: As a Canadian I would like to apologize for it's protectionist policies which broke up the [tP] cast.

samayers1: Can't blame Canada for protecting its workers. Wish our own government would do that. It's a sticky issue....

Chat Participant: Aren't they starting to green light potential projects for the next TV seaon soon?

samayers1: Yes, in the next couple of months stuff will start cooking (re: next season projects).

Chat Participant: Ever thought of doing voice-over work?

samayers1: I've thought of doing v/o work all the time. It's a whole other industry itself with closed doors. It's tough to break into. Robin says, "He could do it if he really put his mind to it."

Chat Participant: There are so many series I can see you in. Angel, more Alias, if 24 goes again maybe as the Agent you play (hoping he doesn't get knocked off or anything), Law and Order and yes, I think it would be great if you landed a recurring role on ALias.

samayers1: I just auditioned for Family Law. I'm trying to craft the "lawyer look."

Chat Participant: Can you say what the character was?

samayers1: A lawyer for the California School Board.

Chat Participant: If Mr Lyle can become a Judge, then Sam can surely become a lawyer.... and Maybe you could get a job on Philly. and Wouldn't it be a kick then to have a "crossover" episode!

samayers1: Absolutely. I'd love to be a lawyer facing "Judge Lyle."

Chat Participant: I would like to see Sam flying in an airplane like in JAG.

samayers1: JAG would be a wonderful episode. Everything you've mentioned so far is ascertainable. Thanks for saying that.
